Awakening
Rays of light find a path through clouds, fog and mountain passes to light up a feature known as Triple Falls at Logan's Pass in Glacier National Park. Together, Glacier and Waterton National Parks form the first international peace park. One can't help to feel at peace in the calm, quiet moments of dawn listening to the water flow down from the mountain through the alpine meadow into the canyon below.

Dawn Light Show Over Bar Harbor
It's mornings like this that make it worth getting up early to catch the dawn and sun rise. This is what the sky looked like over Bar Harbor, ME, at 4:42 a.m. on June 22, 2014. I could only watch in awe and wonder as the colors grew and spread across the sky and reflected on the calm waters. It felt like heaven on earth if only for a few minutes.
